Sundays are unique
On Sunday mornings the whole church gathers. All kinds of people from all kinds of places with all kinds of backgrounds. Cross-generational, cross-cultural, a whole range of people come together as one local family of faith, all to serve one another, to encourage one another, to love one another, and give glory to our God and Saviour Jesus Christ together through serving, singing, preaching and praying. It was on Sundays the church began to meet because it was on Sunday that Jesus rose from the dead. Though we meet on different days in different ways, Sunday is when we gather together, reflecting that we are already gathered together in Christ... And all are welcome to join us.
Key information about our services
Our church meets
every Sunday morning at 10.30am and most
Sunday evenings at 7pm. On the
last Sunday of the month, we gather at 4pm for our Connect Service where we eat, worship and pray together.
Our services this Sunday will take place on:
Sunday 17 November 10:30am
Sunday 17 November 7:00pm
Arriving 10 or so minutes early will help to ensure you get a parking space and seat in time for the service to start. You can park in either the car park behind the church or the Hunter House car park next door to the church.
We meet at:
Calderwood Baptist Church
Maxwellton Road
Calderwood
East Kilbride

You can see a map on our contact us page.
You should expect to receive a warm welcome as you arrive and there will be people available to answer any questions and direct you to where you need to go. Our morning service lasts about an hour and a half. All ages worship together during the first part of our service before the children and young people go to their programme. Our evening service lasts for about an hour.
Our services focus on hearing God's Word being read and preached, praising God in song, and speaking to God in prayer. We partake in the Lord's Supper twice a month - on the first Sunday in the morning service, and on the third Sunday in the evening service.
Refreshments are served after all of our services where there is plenty of time to meet new people, ask any questions or ask for prayer.
We are thankful that we have many children and young people at our services each week. Children stay with their parents at the start of the service as we worship together for the first part of the morning. Someone will announce when the children and young people will go for their programme.
